Managing Director
With over 15 years of experience in accounting, taxation and business advisory, Taikun is a passionate advocate for client-centric holistic approach to public accounting. He specializes in tax planning and business strategies with a keen interest in private equity.
Before founding TWealth Advisory Inc., Taikun began his accounting career in the tax department of KRP LLP, managed a boutique tax-focused accounting firm J & J Group LLP in Edmonton, and took the position of Chief Financial Officer of a biopharmaceutical company PPG BioPharma Inc.
Taikun received his Certified General Accountant designation in 2010, became an Enrolled Agent in 2013, completed CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course in 2018, and became a CFA® charterholder in 2024.
He received a Master of Law degree from Wuhan University and was a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Alberta.
